YEP (Young Elite Professionals) was formed in 2009 for business individuals between the ages of 21-40. The focus of the group is networking, socializing and the opportunity to make connections with other young professionals in the Temple Terrace and surrounding areas. Members meet monthly in a variety of local Chamber restaurants and cafés with speakers and programs ranging from “Social Media Marketing” to “Make a Difference-Volunteer”.
YEP is sponsored by the Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce but Chamber membership is not required for participation. Lauren Tice, Administrative Assistant for the TT Chamber of Commerce, is the organizer for the YEP group and posts all the information about upcoming YEP events on Facebook, Twitter and sends out email blasts to interested young professionals. Co-chairs Jamie Klingman, CEO of Live at Home, Sara Leutizinger, Tampa Bay Business Journal, and Emily Allshouse, AAA Insurance are all successful young professionals themselves and help with all the events and participation in this networking group.
