My name is Dr. Eugene Hiben, founder of Pediatrics of Tampa Bay. I was born and raised in Clairton, Pennsylvania, a small steel town just south of Pittsburgh. I attended the University of Pittsburgh for both my undergraduate and medical degrees, graduating from medical school in 1992. I then moved to Tampa to complete a residency program in Pediatrics at the University of South Florida and have considered Tampa my home ever since.

In 1995, I joined a practice in Lakeland where I practiced pediatrics in a group setting for 10 years, then started my own practice, Pediatrics of Tampa Bay, here in Temple Terrace this past summer.

The office location as of October 15th will be 13389 North 56th Street on the NE corner of Fletcher and 56th. I provide full pediatric services for both sick and well children, as well as school and sports physicals.

Pediatric nutrition is an area of special interest and I am actively trying to assemble a team of healthcare professionals for a pediatric nutrition program.

Office hours are 9AM to 9PM. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. We do accept most insurance plans. I also offer free new parent consultations for parents who may just want to check out the practice and see if it is right for them. The office phone is 983-9495.
