Where Chamber Members do business with Chamber Members

Business Functions

Throughout the year, the chamber sponsors a variety of functions that provide members an opportunity to make important business and social contacts in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. These events include:

AM & PM Networks
Interested in hosting an open house at your site? Invite members into your place of business for a morning or evening social. You provide light refreshments – we provide the advertising!

Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening
Let us make your opening a special event. We invite the media, the Mayor of Temple Terrace and other dignitaries as well as advertise to all chamber members.

Monthly Luncheon Meetings
They are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month at locations within the area. Members are encouraged to bring business cards, brochures for networking opportunities.   Cost = $15 per month.
Special Opportunity: Pre-pay $150 = Eleven lunches (get one free)

Referral Groups
Each group meets weekly for breakfast or lunch networking. Each group consists of no more than 20 members and are limited to one per business type (ie: Realtor, Banker, Printer, Attorney). The purpose of the group is to refer business to one another.  Cost = $25 annual fee

Business Expo
Held annually, this event provides members with the opportunity to showcase their business in a Trade Show atmosphere. The event draws more than 5000 visitors and is the site of the Temple Terrace Restaurant of the Year selection.

Advertise your business with us - Be creative with the following opportunities:

Website Advertising
Members are encouraged to write a profile about the specialty of their business. This information is posted on this site in the member directory for members and web browsers alike.

News & Views Newsletter
This monthly publication is mailed to 700 businesses. The newsletter is filled with information about business and business tips. Members are encouraged to submit articles, which share best practice ideas or share other items of expertise at no charge. Article submission deadline is the 15th of each month. See Articles Policy

Paid Advertising also available in the newsletter:
  • Business Card Size: $200 per year

  • 1/4 Page: $300 per year

  • 1/2 Page: $500 per year

  • Full Page: $750 per year

New Members - Insert one flier in the News & Views in your first year – Free – additional fliers $50.00 (you provide 950 fliers). Fliers must be delivered to the Chamber office no later than the 18th of the month.

Mailing labels
The Chamber office will be happy to provide you with a complete set of mailing labels of all chamber members. Your first set is free (additional sets $15). Don’t need us to print the labels? Request the list to be emailed for FREE!

Cards & Brochures
Display and distribute your business cards in the Chamber office. Our highly visible office receives interested visitors seeking referrals for business needs.
